Es la historia de Ezequiel, quien debe huir de su pueblo natal, Chajarí Entre Ríos, donde practica boxeo amateur, tras negarse a perder una pelea por plata. Huye y llega a Buenos aires para encontrar a su hermano Luciano con el fin de que éste lo ayude a conseguir trabajo y así mandarle dinero a su esposa e hijos, los cuales quedaron en su provincia. Las cosas se complican cuando conoce a Ana y no puede hallar a Luciano, logrando meterse en insólitos problemas. También conoce al propietario del local de quiniela y padre de Ana, quien le da cobijo por haberlo ayudado en un reyerta callejera. Luciano trabaja en un taller mecánico y su pasión son los autos. Y este hobby lo llevara a cometer errores y debera huir y esconderse, como su hermano, de los matones del dueño del taller.
